Ball Python at CT Wildlife Center

Monty

The Ball Python

Monty, the Ball Python, is one of the most docile, trustworthy snakes that people will ever meet. Monty has been at the Nature Center for more than 10 years and is approximately 20 years in age. Over the time that he has been at the Center he has visited hundreds of classrooms and taught thousands of students that snakes can be friendly too. Ball Pythons live approximately 30 years in captivity so now Monty is partially retired and only goes out to the classrooms on occasion. Now when people want to visit him they have to visit him in his home at the Center.
