Mindy

American Mink

Originating all the way from Duluth, Minnesota Mindy was rescued by Wildwoods, which is a Wildlife Rehabilitation center in the area. She was found in the street very dehydrated and emaciated by a town resident and brought immediately to Wildwoods. There she was stabilized and brought back up to a healthy weight, but much to the surprise of the staff she was incredibly friendly and showed no fear towards people. It was concluded that she was a released pet and was unable to catch food on her own. They then needed to find her a permanent home, which is how she came to the Center. She flew out and arrived early on the morning of the February 16th. She is quite fond of fish and can often be seen bounding along the rocks in her enclosure.
