European Legless Lizard

Over 30 years ago Cliff was found in West Hartford CT in a pile of leaves in someone’s backyard. Cliff was probably an unwanted pet who someone could not find a home for so they decided to release him outside.

Although the species does live in cooler climates it would be unlikely that it would have survived the cold winters of New England.
