Russian Tortoise

Borris was donated in 1997 because he needed more care than his owner could provide at the time and they wanted him to go to a good home. Tortoises, like most reptiles, are particularly longed lived and Russian tortoises in particular can live well beyond 50 years. This often makes tortoises a tough pet to keep.
