The Underminer was an animal donation from the Connecticut Science Center as they were downsizing their animal collection. Currently he is not on display and is just used for educational programs teaching students about amphibians and the process of metamorphosis. As our largest terrestrial salamander in Connecticut he makes an excellent ambassador.
