Brazilian White Knee Tarantula

In 2013, when a Spineless Wonders exhibit left after a year here, we ended up with this tarantula as an addition to our permanent residents.

We occasionally rent exhibitions from other Museums and in 2012 we had Spineless Wonders, which consisted of a wide variety of insects and other invertebrates. When the exhibition left the company that rents out the exhibit did not take the animals with it to the next venue so we ended up acquiring a whole host of different exotic invertebrates, including Aragog.
