Tommy, Sawyer, Bonnie and Clyde
European Ferret
Bonnie and Clyde are two little trouble makers from New Hartford where they had been taken care of by a young girl. They lived in the basement of her parent’s house where her father’s “man-cave” was located. Ferrets produce a musky odor that can be quite potent, which filled the whole basement making it quite unpleasant to be down there. This trait was what prompted them needing to find a new home here at the Center. Only one years old when they arrived in the fall of 2016. Bonnie and Clyde will be here at the Center causing mischief form many years.
Tommy and Sawyer were rescued by one our Wildlife Sanctuary volunteers. They were found in the basement of our volunteers cousin who did not own any ferrets! They suspect that they were abandoned by a former tenant who had moved out the week before. Only several months old when brought to the Center they are growing up nicely and love interacting with people.
